So many people are disappointed in the people of America. And I won’t lie, I cried on the morning after the election. Why? Because I’m scared. I’m scared of what our country could look like with Trump in charge.
Like truly scared.
That the forward, positive steps we have taken will be erased.
But America has voted and this is the result. I have been thinking about why. And I have a bit of insight because my husband voted for Trump. And yes, I voted for Hillary.

I thought this was a generous, thoughtful post, but Kathy already got a not so nice reply, I guess. I think she deleted it from her page, but it’s too bad that this race got so nasty and ugly.

It wasn’t a comment on my blog. After reading my post someone blogged about their reaction to my post, linking it to my post, quoting me in her post and then giving her opinion on how I was wrong. I could have handled a comment on my post, but to wave my post around then picking it apart seemed a bit much. She took what I hoped was a post of positivity and made it about hate. She judged me without knowing me.

I’ve come to think that some people just live to pick apart what other people write or think. They seem to take joy in it. I don’t understand it, and you wouldn’t either, but that’s a good thing. We might disagree with someone, and even say so, but we don’t need to rip them apart. It must make some people feel good–sad, really.
